Bijou Theatre Woonsocket R.I. [illeg.] Sept. 20. Matinee. Weather, fair. Business, light [illeg.] Time 2 minutes. REEL NO. 1. Time [10?] minutes. REEL NO. 2. Time 14 minutes. LEBARGE. Went well. Novelty musical act by man. Good selections well done. Imitations win laughs. Works straight. Runs 15 minutes in two, though he can work in one if required. A pleasing act. HOLDEN [S or &?], MAX. Went well. Act combines magic and shadowgraphy. Magic not very strong but shadowgraphy makes a hit. Full stage. Time 11 minutes. HENRIETTA BARSTOW. Went well. Young girl comedienne. Sings three songs with changes of costume for each and finishes with a little dance. Act not bad at all and fits in nicely on small time. In one. Time 11 minutes. LECOMPTE. Went well. An act of fire-eating. On the museum order but goes very well in vaudeville. Quite likely to make talk and ought to draw. Uses hot wax, lead and arc light carbons, etc. as food. Full stage. Time, 10 minutes. [MOEY?] & WALTERS. Went well. Two men in talking and singing set, "The Rehearsal." Idea plays upon dissolved partnership of vaudeville team one man portraying a stage hand and the other the remaining partner of the two. Lines are [bright?] and well worked up. Songs good. Comedy goes well. In one. Time 10 minutes. ALICE MORTLOCK & CO. Went well. (Sketch entitled, "Billy's Gir.") Comedy sketch [illeg.] two men and a lady. Well costumed. Excellently staged. Dialogue bright and well done. Comedy is natural all the way through. No singing or dancing but the act is straight and entertaining from the start. Full stage. Time 18 minutes. REEL NO. 3. Time 16 minutes. REEL NO. 4. Time 14 minutes. NOTE- The show makes up the most balanced bill of the season.
