REPORT ON COLUMBUS SHOW WEEK OCTOBER 25TH, 1909 W. W. Prosser MAX YORK'S DOGS: A number of very well trained Fox Terriers, man doing acrobatic work, woman assisting. Very pratty little act which went fairly well. Garden in 4, 9 minutes DOLLY SISTERS: Singers and dancers. Two rather clever young girls who introduce a number of songs with costume change for each. Their work was fairly good and they went moderately well. 11 minutes, olio in 1. HARLAN KNIGHT & CO.: In "The Chalk Line". This actwent very well and was sucess throughout. No fault to find in any particular. Special net in 4, 25 minutes SHORT PICTURE TO SET FOR: EDMUND STANLEY & CO. : Man and two women in an operatta, "Love's Garden". The act was moderately well received, all of the songs scoring pretty well. The set is quite pretty and the not finished only moderately strong. 19 minutes, special set in 5. HARRY B. LESTER: "The Jovial Jester". He has a repertoire of songs and talk all of which went unusually well, and up to this point he was as big, if not a bigger hit than anything on the bill. Made an excellent impression and finished unmistakably well. 21 minutes, street in 1. The Four RIANOS: In their well known offering, "The Professor in Africa". This act went with a rush, created a lot of fun and made a very good closer 17 minutes, special set in 5 MOVING PICTURES: O. K.
