59 53 CHASE'S WASHINGTON -:Week Dec. 6th, 1909:- THE MUSICAL FREDERICKS A man and woman, both doing good execution on different musical instruments, he somewhat of a comedian, who did well in this position. Full stage, closing in one. THE 4 ENGLISH ROSEBUDS Good, hard working, novelty acrobatic dancers and the audience liked them, so did we. Full stage. HIBERT and WARREN They seemed to have forgotten this popular team and today the eccentric dance of one of them was the same hit as ever. In one. EDWARDS DAVIS and Co. "The Picture of Vanity". The lines, while intensely dramatic occasionally sparkle with comedy and are punctuated with hearty applause. Mr. Davis is the best legitimate actor having appeared on our stage and has splendid support in Mr. Sax and Miss Gage. The special scenery, the entire production, is magnificent and Belasco could not improve either it or the cast. For $1,000., for $1,500. nor even $2,000. has anything been sent us from the U. [B? E?] O. good as this act at $500. Full stage. -:INTERMISSION:- MAY ELINORE AND IRENE JERMON "Two Strolling Players". Built along the ideas of the Elinore Sisters' act and to our surprise very early as good less the grotesque make-up of Kate. In one. THE LONG ACRE QUARTETTE Liked very much, indeed. In one. The 4 CASTING DUNBARS Just as good as ever, which means that they are very good. Full stage. THE AMERICAN VITAGRAPH "The magic Pen". A very clever comic subject. H. Winnifred DeWitt, Manager.
