69 69 REPORT OF PROVIDENCE SHOW, WEEK OF DECEMBER 27th, 1909. Charles Lovenberg, Manager. The show this week is exceptionally good, no fault to be found with any act on the bill. BENNETT TRIO Acrobatic comedy act. All right to open an early show or the bills at regular vaudeville houses in the smaller cities. All right for the money. 10 Min. F.S. DALE & BOYLE Two men, one made up as a woman, singing and dancing act, depending principally upon the surprise at the disclosure at the finish of the act that they are both men. Could make a good a peg further down the bill. Went very well in this spot. 12 Min. in One. HERMANY'S ANIMALS Dogs and Cats. Not a great act, but somewhat unusual. very acceptable at the price. 10 Min. F. S. FRANK MORRELL Mr. Morrell went first rate with the audience, principally because of his singing. We have had some worse monologuists. 17 Min. in One. CHAS. B. LAWLOR & DAUGHTERS An exceptionally good character dialect singing act. One of the hits of the bill. 21 Min. Open F.S. Close in One. AMY RICARD & LESTER LONERGAN In a dainty dramatic comedy sketch, most aptly termed, "An Idyl of Ireland". Very prettily mounted and exceptionally well played by both the principals. An act that could be made a headliner in any house in the world. 22 Min. F.S. HOWARD & NORTH In "Those Were happy Days". Same big success as ever 18 Min. in One. BILLY B. VAN & BEAUMONT SISTERS These people held the audience exceptionally well, getting lots of laughter throughout the act. I can't quite see the value int he act for the money they are receiving, but considering Van's reputation, we are not being as badly stuck as with many other high priced acts. 27 Min. Open F.S. Close in One. FOUR RINAOS Their baggage failed to arrive, consequently they did not make their appearance. MOTION PICTURES O.K.
