CHASE'S WASHINGTON Week Nov. 8th, 1909 LOUIS GUERTIN This young fellow furnishes a novelty, advertising himself as "The World's Champion High and All Round Jumper". Exceptionally good for this position. Full stage. PRINGLE and WHITING These young men call their act, "Breaking into Vaudeville". Their patter, solo and duet numbers and unusually attractive, best of comedy, and made a great big hit. Good any position on any bill. In one. BOWERS, WALTERS and CROOKER "The Three Rubes". The same big laugh as ever. Full stage, closing in one. WARMBATH "27 Months in the Arctic". This man spent a great deal of time with both Cook and Peary, talks the Eskimo language and is as familiar with the arctic as any of the other explorers. He took about five minutes in introductory talk, then showed about 50 slides with the stereopticon, illustrating scenes in the polar regions. Closed with a scene we built for him and showed and explained an exhibition of the animals, sleighs, dogs and many things showing the habits and customs of the people. He will draw us a splendid large patronage all week and is a hit. Opens in one, and closes full stage. INTERMISSION WHITE'S "FOUR DANCING BUGS" Quite clever dancers and will make good in a position a little earlier on the bill. Full stage, can close in one. RAY COX New songs, retaining the baseball number, and was received with warm approval. In one. ANNETTE KELLERMANN I think we can say for her about what the other houses have in the way of commendation, but we are doubtful about the act being worth the money paid for it, the trouble and expense and time to put it on being taken into consideration. We offer no criticism nor disparagement. We commend. Full stage. THE AMERICAN VITAGRAPH "The Pittsburgh-Detroit Baseball Game. O. K. H. Winnifred De Witt, Manager.
