Boston show week February 21, '10. R. G. Larsen WATSON AND LITTLE. 15 minutes in 1. This is not an ideal act with which to open a show, as it is all talk and singing, but it got by in very good shape this afternoon. SULLY FAMILY. 22 minutes f.s. This is a typical Searle Allen sketch, lots of movement to it, and went first rate. BOWMAN BROTHERS. Flying banjos. 18 minutes f.s. close in 1. One of the best novelties of the kind we have played. "DINCKELSPIEL'S CHRISTMAS." 21 minutes f.s. This sketch has been shorn of its objectionable feature and is certainly a relief in the way of comedy of this sort. It made a very favorable impression, got lots of laughs, and had a good finish. ALBERT HOLE. Boy soprano. 13 minutes in 1. Master Hole made his vaudeville debut this afternoon. He was brought to America by Madam Liza Lehmann and has been appearing in concerts in the large cities for the past few months. He is without question the greatest boy soprano seen here in years, with a remarkably sweet voice and his command of it is absolutely perfect. When he was engaged it was simply a question of getting the proper program, and this afternoon we struck it almost right, and will only change one song. As it was, he actually carried the audience by storm, not along by his singing but by his wonderful personality. He is sure to become a big favorite especially with ladies and children. We will keep him another week. CLIFF BERZAC'S CIRCUS. 13 minutes f.s. A big laugh as usual and just what was needed at this part of the show. NAT WILLS. 32 minutes in 1. Wills was a positive riot here this afternoon and although his stuff was very much the same as when he last appeared here. SAXON TRIO. 12 minutes f.s. This is one of the most sensational of the strong man acts and went big, although I question whether features such as this in vaudeville nowadays are worth the money we pay them. PICTURES. "A Modern Dr Jekyll." Very good comedy film. COMMENT. This show rounded out into one of the best we have had this season with lots of good comedy and strong features to back it up.
