167 REPORT ON PROVIDENCE SHOW, WEEK OF MARCH 7, 1910. Charles Lovenberg, Manager. The show this week is fairly good, hardly up to the standard we have been setting of late. HARRY RICHARDS & CO Comedy sketch with a little singing. This is by no means as good an act as I had been led to believe from reports that I have seen and failed to score very strongly with our audiences 17 Min. F. S. Can do a short close in One if required. MARION GARSON Soprano Vocalist. All right for the money paid. 10 Minutes in One. ERGOTTI & LILLIPUTIANS A corking good risley act with some touches of comedy. 13 Minutes F. S. REIFF BROS. & MISS MURRAY I can't see this act with spy glasses and neither could the audience. The eccentric dancing by the two men is all right, but the singing is atrocious and the comedy is, I am afraid, much too subtle for our audiences. I don't ever want to see them again. 15 Min. in One. THE GREAT HOWARD This is a good ventriloquial act, but not strong enough for the spot I had them slated for - second to last. He doesn't by any means compare with Lester. The novelty of presentation is the best part of his act. 18 min. F.S. Close in One. THE THREE VAGRANTS Musicians and Singers. Act is well known. Suffice to say that they went very well indeed. 15 Min. in One. LA PETITE REVUE Comment upon the merit of this act would hardly be in good taste coming from me. 20 Min. F.S. MaCART & BRADFORD A very funny comedy sketch which kept the audience in good humour throughout. Opes with about ten min. in One, closes F.S. 23 Min. in all. ALBERT HOLE Boy Soprano and unquestionably the greatest I ever heard. He will hold down this spot, as well as the headline position, without any trouble. 14 Min. in One. RAYNO'S DOGS. Well-known act which went as well as usual. 10 min. F.S. MOTION PICTURES O.K.
