172 BOSTON SHOW WEEK MARCH 14, '10 [1910]. R. G. LARSEN GALETTI'S BABOONS. 12 minutes f.s. As animal acts go nowadays, this one was a little disappointing to-day. The animals worked badly and during the 12 minutes they were on the stage, comparatively few of the tricks they did could be called at all out of the ordinary. MIGNONETTE KOKIN. 13 minutes in 1. Miss Kokin is rather pleasing but this afternoon failed to get much applause until her last two dances, when she got a good hand. MRS. EVA FAY. (1st part) 19 minutes f.s. Interesting enough and held the attention of the audience. GRIFF. 19 minutes, open in 1, then to 2, and close in 1. Griff has always been a favorite here and this afternoon went as well as an act of this kind could go. There was good natured laughter all through. "FOOLISH FACTORY." 28 minutes f.s. with close in 1. It was a rather hard audience this afternoon and the "Foolish Factory" failed to wake them up. It is burlesque pure and simple but does not begin to compare with the "Models of the Jardin de Paris." It was taken good naturally all through and got laughs in spots. This evening it went big and got any number of laughs and calls at the finish. Burlesque was a novelty and surprised some in the audience. STUART. 17 minutes f.s. and close in 1. This man went as big as ever this afternoon and his costumes made an impression with the women folks. MRS. EVA FAY. (2nd part) 25 minutes f.s. Mrs Fay is doing her usual act and this afternoon got some fair local stuff over and a fund of good comedy which makes the act worth while under any circumstance. We hope to stir up some interest in it before the week is over. JACK WILSON TRIO. 28 minutes in 1. Wilson had some trouble in getting his audience this afternoon, that is for the first few minutes until he began to burlesque Mrs Fay. When he once got started, they could not get enough of him. HASSAN BEN ALI'S ARABS. 9 min. f.s. A great whirlwind closing act.
