BOSTON SHOW WEEK APRIL 25, '10. R. G. Larsen. (Monday afternoon) THE DALEYS. 14 minutes f.s. Trick roller skating with a little singing. Very good opening act for the money. Went very well here this afternoon. BRADY AND MAHONEY. 14 minutes in 1. "The Hebrew Fireman and the Foreman." This is a rather quiet act with intermittent laughs and filled the spot fairly well. CROUCH AND WELSH. 15 minutes f.s. A lively talking and acrobatic act. The girl is dainty and has good appearance, and the entire turn went first rate. HILDA HAWTHORNE. 13 minutes in 1. This young woman is excellent value for the money and held down the spot satisfactorily. Her opening was rather quiet but her close was very big. She was forced to take a number of bows. WARREN, LYON AND MEYERS. 20 minutes f.s. closing in 1. This is one of the most refreshing numbers we have had here this season and Miss Meyers was the bright particular star. She has a most engaging personality, won the audience from the start, and they could not get enough of her. The entire act went well and the finish was nothing short of an ovation. MRS. PATRICK CAMPBELL. 25 minutes f.s. Mrs. Campbell has been fortunate in the selection of a vehicle for vaudeville, and the sketch went very well here this afternoon, notwithstanding that the man who plays the Russian general did not come anywhere near the requirements of his part. He did not afford the opportunity for Mrs. Campbell to work up her climaxes as she is capable of doing, and it was a pity to see what might have been an excellent performance marred. However, the audience did not seem to notice the deficiency, and the act closed big. BOWERS, WALTERS AND CROOKER. 12 minutes opening and closing in 1. Same old hit as of yore. THREE VAGRANTS. 11 minutes in 1. These street singers had a very hard spot but there was no way out of it, as it requires so much time to set the Banvards' act that we had to put them on after the "Rubes" rather than have a wait at this time of day. The show up to this point had gone along in great shape, nevertheless the Vagrants got by and we hope to have them do better to-night by furnishing livelier stuff. Later, they went big to-night. SIX FLYING BANVARDS. 9 minutes f.s. A great big act which makes a most imposing stage picture and with a lot of good work by six people. It was a very strong closing feature. KINETOGRAPH. "A Rich Revenge." Exceptionally good film with a comedy ending.
