253 BOSTON SHOW MAY 30, 1910 (Monday afternoon) R. G. Larsen. BARNES AND KING. 15 minutes f.s. Comedy magic. This is an A1 opening act. Started well this afternoon and had laughs all through it. The element of comedy is very strong. MONTGOMERY AND HEALY SISTERS. 14 minutes in 1. Special drop. A neat, well dressed trio that went very well in this spot. Good value for the money. FARREL, TAYLOR TRIO. 27 minutes c.d.f. This is a crackerjack blackface act, just the kind needed to wake up a bill in this spot. REIDY AND CURRIER. 14 minutes in 1 and 2. Special drop. A most pleasing singing number with a harp that went first rate here. CHARLES MONTRELL. 17 minutes f.s. This man is a very clever juggler, has some good facts, but the act is particularly strong on account of the comedy of the blackface assistant, who keeps things moving all the time. MULLEN AND CORELLI. 12 minutes in 1. Doing their old act and getting away with it in good shape. WILLIAM H. THOMPSON IN "THE PRIDE OF THE REGIMENT." 18 minutes f.s. special set. This is one of the best sketches that Mr. Thompson has had, and went well here this afternoon. STUART BARNES. 25 minutes in 1. Doing his regular monologue, with comparatively little new stuff, going as big as ever. LAVEEN CROSS COMPANY IN "ROMAN SPORTS AND PASTIMES." 16 minutes f.s. special set. This is a really good strong-man act, that also has much to recommend it in its element of comedy. PICTURES "King Edwards' Funeral Procession." Very good film. CUTS. Stuart Barnes - last verse of Pittsburgh song. Farrel, Taylor Trio - "You look like Bull Durham to me," and business of being shot behind.
