Saving...
PROVIDENCE E. F. ALBEE JANUARY 10, 1922 The show gave very good satisfaction. With the exception of one act they all got off very well indeed. CHARLES LOVENBERG CORRADINI'S ANIMALS - Well known act full of life and snap that made a good send off to the show. 8 minutes full stage. ALPHA AND DELTA KANE - This act was a disappointment. It amounts to nothing at all. 12 minutes in one. FRANKLYN, CHARLES & CO. - These people met with their usual success, in fact, were a big hit. 20 minutes, short opening in one, short close in one, remainder full stage. VALERIE BERGERE & CO - In what is supposed to be a new sketch but looke to me like an old one re-written. It went very well but I am sure it has no box office value. 21 minutes full stage. FRANKIE HEATH - Miss Heath was the big surprise and the big hit of the show. I am quite sure she would make good anywhere. 19 minutes in one. WILL MAHONEY - Nut comedian who held the spot satisfactorily and pleased the audience. 20 minutes in one. MARGA WALDRON with GEORGE HALPRIN at the piano. A very beautiful dancing act which is considerably enhanced by Mr. Halprin's work at the piano. It might be considered too quiet for a closing number but it held the audience intack and received considerable applause. 17 minutes full stage.
