Boston Keith's January 9, 1922 Aesop's Fable: Fair Topics of the Day: Fair Chandon Trio: 10 min in full stage Man and two women. Good aerial work and made a nice opener. Pietro: 14 min in 1 Well known accordeonist. Went over very good. Chas Ahearn & Co. 18 min in full stage spec. This man does very little bicycle work now, but gets most of his comedy from burlesque classic dancing and a comedy jazz band. Fast act and went over well. D. D. H. 20 min in 1 First time here. Started slowly but improved as he went along. Closed to a fairly good hand. Ella Retford: 18 min in full stage. This girls last number an imitation of Belle Baker who played here last week, put her over to a good hand. Up to that time she created little interest. Lewis & Dody: 16 min in 1 Got some fairly good laughs and closed to a nice hand. Creole Fashion Plate: 25 min in full stage spec. Better than ever in all respects, including scenery, gowns and program. A hit. Harry Watson & Co. 17 min in 1 and 2. Pretty tough spot following three other hokum acts on the same bill. He Held them well at night show and got plenty of laughs with same material used on previous visits here. Pathe News: Fair. CUTS: Charles Ahearn: Please have lady dancer wear fleshings. This is a city ordinace. Lewis & Dody: Please eliminate reference to Wilson and the Quincy House also "Doctor's Pants" Gag.
