PHILADELPHIA B. F. KEITH'S June 19th, 2 FABLES & "TOPICS OF THE DAY" - Both very good and they got a lot of laughs. SULTAN - Very cleverly trained pony, well handled by a young lady and did very nicely in the opening spot. (11 mins.) VICTORIA AMATI - (11 mins.) One of the best cellists we have had and much enjoyed by our music lovers. She was very well received and closed to a good hand. DAVIS & DARNELL - (12 mins.) Played here several time and is a very satisfactory comedy talking act. Got plenty of laughs and held the spot very well. CARSON & WILLARD - (19 mins.) a new "nut" comedy act. A good line of material but needs to be speeded up. Closed with a topical song that gave them an excellent finish. BUSHMAN & BAYNE - (In Poor-Rich Man) - (26 mins.) Repeated very well for us with the same act they did here last summer. They were very well received and closed to a very warm hand. WELLS, VIRGINIA & WEST - (17 mins.) The dancing of the boy was a sensation and he took several bows. The act went over fine, being one of the big applause hits of the show. ARNAUT BROS. - (15 mins.) First time here in several seasons and their act was a big hit, using a little more music than usual, which, with some good comedy stuff and their bird whistling, carried them through to a good sized hit. THE RECKTORS - (8 mins.) A very good two man balancing act. They have some new tricks and all their work is neatly done. Did very nicely in the closing position. PATHE NEW - Good variety. Better than average for last few weeks. GENERAL REMARKS -While our headliner is a repeat act, a break in the weather should help, and the surrounding bill proved satisfactory from an entertainment standpoint.
