ORCHESTRA 5 minutes. VAN CLEVE & PETE out on account of illness of Van Cleve. LILLIAN VON KOVACS & GOLDNER. Special in one, 13 minutes. Very nice act. Very good performers on the piano and violin. ROBERT REILLEY & CO. Special in three, 20 minutes. Mr. Reilley is supported by Margerat Kennedy and little Larry in a song playlet entitled "Irish Romance". A very good act. Good Irish singing and dancing. A hit. DANNY DUGGAN assited by Madelyn Meredith and Freddy Sanborn. 13 minute special in three. Danny Duggan is a good dancer. He is very popular here and will draw business for us this week. JIM MCWILLIAMS. 24 minutes in one. Jim repeated the same old act and though everyone knows it words for word around here he seemed to go better than on his former visits and was an unqualified laughing hit. VENITA GOULD. Olio in one and library in three. 20 minutes. Venita Gould gave her impressions of several well known stars including Al Jolson, George Cohan, Ted Lewis, Leonore Ulric and others in a very artistic and successful manner, She is a talented woman and was an unqualified success this afternoon. DAVE SEED AND RALPH AUSTIN in "Things and Stuff". Special in two, olio in one, 15 minutes. Very funny act which pleased immensely this afternoon. LA MONACA'S SYNCHOPHONIC ORCHESTRA. 27 minutes, special in three. Ver good local orchestra composed of some of the best Italian musicians of the city. These boys were a hit this afternoon and will undoubtedly draw us business, not only from their local pull but because they are good musicians as well. CHARLES CHAPLIN in "The Pilgirm" 42 minutes. Held them in. The audience screamed with laughter most of the time during this long picture watching the Chaplin antics. REMARKS: A good show, a little draggy in places but will speed up. Clay[illegible] appeared in Van Cleve's spot this afternoon and the Norvelles wil appear tomorrow for the last of the week. The Norvelles, 51 John Street, Pawtucket, R. I.
