REPORT OF BIJOU THEATRE, WOONSOCKET, R. I., Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, May 6, 7 and 8. SWEENEY & ROONEY--- "Novelty Dancers"--Two men; hard-shoe and Pedestal dancing, with a song and some talking. 12 min. olio; went good. MARIE RUSSELL--- "The Belle of Kentucky"--"A Study in Brown"--makes up as colored; dressed very neat; special drop; went rather tame until the wind-up where she sang a patriotic song which went over big. 13 min.; olio. LARRY SIMPSON & CO.--- "The Road to Reno"--Three men and two women; comedy rural satire; special scenery of a rural hotel; this act was full of laughs thro out, and went over good. 12 min. full stage.
