PHILADELPHIA B.F. KEITH'S September 23 8 PATHE 17 min. Up to the usual average BELL & EVA 7 min. Man and woman in a routine of trampoline feats. Lively acrobatic number that did very well as an opener. SHERLOCK SISTERS & JIMMY FOLEY. 16 min. Two girls and a young man in songs and dances. Girls make several changes of costumes. They went fairly well up to the closing number which was lively and brought them a good hand. GARCINETTI BROS. 7 min. This act was added to the show without preliminary billing, but fitted in nicely and got over in good shape. Two men and a dog do some excellent hat throwing stunts and the dog gets a lot of comedy out of his work with a rubber ball. Won a good hand. NED NORWORTH & CO. 14 min. The craziest kind of a nut comedy turn by two men and a girl. A piano is used in the act. Their material is a jumble of nonsense, but kept the audience in a roar of laughter. Closed strong. RITA MARIO & ORCHESTRA. 25 min. An aggregation of 10 girls in a program of instrumental and vocal music. Girls are talented, play good music and make an attractive appearance. A high class musical offering which will make good on any bill. Went very well here. ALRED LATELL & CO. 10 min. An excellent novelty that scored a big hit. The man is a wonderful animal impersonator and with the assistance of Elsie Vokes has arranged an offering that interests the grown-ups and is a real joy for children. Made an excellent impression. DUGAN & TAYMOND. 17 min. A comedy sketch called, "They Auto Know Better." Man and woman have a good line of comedy chatter about an auto and an elopement. Kept the audience laughing, but has a rather weak finish. The act did not get in soon enough to take their regular place in the bill and went on without a rehearsal, suffering somewhat through this. BLANCHE RING 21 min. Sang a number of new songs and one old one for a finish. Each one scored solidly and her closing number was a riot. She did about ten choruses. She has never gone better in this house. DIAMOND & BRENNAN. 18 min. Very little change in this act, except a little of the talk and a song, but they went very well and got plenty of laughs. ASAHI TROUPE. 16 min. First showing here in several years. Still featuring the thumb and water tricks and proved just as interesting and as much of a mystery as ever. Did very well in the closing spot. GENERAL REMARKS. Non-arrival of Dugan and Raymond for their spot jumbled up the bill and did not give it the best chance, but it went through in great shape considering the conditions with a big audience. The running order for the remainder of the week is as follows: A Orchestra B Pathe C Bell & Eva D Sherlock Sisters & Foley E Dugan & Raymond F Garcinetti Bros. G Alfred Latell H Rita Mario & Orchestra I Ned Norworth & Co. J Blanche Ring K Diamond & Brennan L Asahi Troupe
