PROVIDENCE, R.I. B. F. KEITH'S OCTOBER 28th. 8 We have an excellent vaudeville show this week and one that I feel is going to draw some business, although the opening was not big by any means, I am in hopes that the excellent entertainment will somewhat off set the fear of the public of the "Influenza". CHAS. LOVENBERG. THE GLADIATORS: Excellent hand balancing act which made quite a hit, 8 minutes full stage. JAMES F. THOMPSON & COMPANY. Two men, black face, special drop in one and a half- Got a great many laughs. 11 minutes. SYLVIA CLARKE. Miss Clarke comes to us this season with the best material she has ever had and made an unqualified hit. 23 minutes in one. RAYMOND BOND & CO. A new melo-dramatic comedy sketch called "Silent Smith". A very good vehichle and well played. 21 min. full stage. YATES & REED. Two men talking and singing act of which the singing is quite a feature. One of the men for a short period appears as a female. A very good act. 18 min. in one. RAE ELEANORE BALL & BROTHER. The brother is quite an acquisition to the act and from a vaudeville stand point, this is the best offering Miss Ball has ever given us. 17 min. in one. "SOMEWHERE WITH PERSHING." Jack Norworth's sketch from "Odds & Ends", a corking good vehicle, well played and went big. 20 min full stage GARDNER & HARTMAN. Following all the splendid comedy that went ahead, this was a very difficult spot, but these people had- it in good style. 18 minutes in one. LOLA GIRLIE & JAMES TEMPLETON. Classical dancing act, very pretty offering. 11 minutes full stage. MOTION PICTURES. O. K. Cuts: JAMES F. THOMPSON: "Hell of a hurry". GARDNER & HARTMAN: Suggestion of Influenza.
