BOSTON KEITH'S Jan. 13, 9 Weekly:- Interesting Beeman & Anderson:- 6 min. F.S. Fast Roller Skating Act with a little comedy. Made a fair opener. Sue Creighton:- 14 min. in one. Two girls, one at the piano, in a program of popular and character numbers. Went only fair. Whitfield & Ireland:- 16 min. 1 1/2 Spec. The Comedy drop used for the opening of this act got a big laugh, but the act itself didn't get over any too well. Closed to a fair hand. A. Robins & Partner:- 9 min. in one. This well known imitator of musical instruments, assisted by a lady in Italian character playing a small organ, entertained nicely and closed to a good hand. Mrs. Gene Hughes & Co.:- 23 min. F.S. Mrs. Hughes has a very nice sketch with plenty of comedy, and a little pathos, which was handled very cleverly and closed to a big hand. Mlle. Nitta-Jo:- 17 min. in 2 Spec. This French girl certainly has a novel manner of presenting her songs, and closing to a big hand, had to make a speech. La Bernicia:- 13 min. f.s. Spec. A very neat classic dancing act assisted by an Indian Princess playing the harp and banjo, went over good. Henry Lewis:- 21 min. in 2 1/2 and 1. Lewis went over in his usual manner, closing to a good hand. Mirano Bros.:- 5 min. f.s. Spec. This act held the entire house, closing to a fair hand. Red Cross Reel:- Closed the show. CUTS: Mr. Henry Lewis: Please eliminat all the cuts made at the Palace. Lines in song "I smell like Mary Garden My God ain't that enough. Line "When Eve gave Adam the apple, wasn't she a little bear (bare)". Entire song "Oh Hel----en" Also entire speech including Line "God bless the ladies and keep them. I can't."
