Report on the show at the "Scenic" week of Jan 23rd. Wilbur Sweatman. "Ragtime Clarinetist" 12 min in 1. Act went good. Beeman & Anderson. "Roller Skaters" 8 min in 3. A good act of the kind The Kilkenny Duo. "Old Irish Characters" 14 min in 1. This act is on the order of the old act of Sam & Kitty Morton. The act went good. O'Donnell & Blair. "The Piano Tuner" 8 min in C.D.F. This act was a clean up from start to finish. Good Show. Thursday Norman Telma. "A Game of Billiards" (Contortionist) 8 min in 2. A fairly good act. Walter & Archie Jones. "Two Types". Colored Comedians. 15 min in 1 Fairly good coon act, not very much pet in it. Billy Glason. "Just Songs & Sayings" A very good act. 18 min in 1 This fellow was something of a hit here. The Five Princeton Girls. "Music & Song" 16 min Palace in 3. A very nice act, and went very good. The show as a whole is very good. Reddy REPORT OF BIJOU THEATRE, WOONSOCKET, R. I., Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, January 27, 28 and 29. KANE, MOREY & MOORE--- "Striking a Balance"--Three men; this act is done all in the air; balancing on a ladder held on the shoulders and feet. 9 min. full; went good. JEANETTE CHILDS--- Character comedienne; sings several character songs and makes changes of costume; also dancing. 13 min. in one; went good. SOMEWHERE IN CONEY ISLAND--- "A Photographic Farce"--Two men and a woman; Lester, Sherry & Moore. This Farce is full of fun and nonsense; one dressed as a soldier, the other as a photographer; they introduce a donkey in the act. 15 min. full; went good. A S Watson
