I am not very well pleased with the show this week as a whole, although we have some very good features, but despite those the bill lacks strength, particularly in its early moments. We are doing good business, caused largely by the impetus gained through last week's wonderful bill, but the general opinion of the show is not good.
CHAS. LOVENBERG.
NADJE:
Good looking girl who does a couple of good stunts in the way of feats of strength and teeth work, but there is very little to the act. It just serves to open the show and nothing more 7 min. full stage.
LORD & FULLER:
Young man and woman in an act of attempted comedy with a little trick on unicycle riding and club juggling and terribly bad violin playing by the lady. A very very small time offering. 9 min. in two, close in one.
JIMMY LUCAS & CO:
We needed this standard comedy offering here very badly. He met with usual success. 20 min. in two.
RAJAH:
Somehow or other, in spite of her elaborate production, the first part of her act does not mean much to Providence audiences. Her chair dance at the finish of course is very good and goes big. 12 min. full stage.
PERONNE & OLIVER:
Baritone and Soprano. Personally I don't care much for their singing, but largely I believe because of their well chosen selections, they got considerable applause from the audience. From that standpoint, they must be reckoned as a good act. 14 min. in one.
MRS. GENE HUGHES & CO:
In by far, the best act they have ever given us. An unqualified success. 23 min. full stage.
LYDELL & MACY:
A real gem in character drawing, a splendid vehicle excellently played and vociferously laughed at and applauded. 23 min. in one.
ALFRED LATELL & ELSIE VOKES:
Mr. Latell in his very fine dog impersonation and Miss Vokes in her songs and child character held this spot in good style  The audience remaining intact until the finished when they rewarded them with several curtain calls. A very good act indeed. 13 min. in two.
