PROVIDENCE. R. I. B F. KEITH'S FEB. 24th, 9 The show plays pretty well this week, no fault can be found with the individual acts, but what business we will do will be drawn by "Art" and the Brown, Rooney and Barry walking burlesque as the other stuff is practically all old and in Providence the demand is for new material. CHAS. LOVENBERG. LALLA SELBINI: As Miss Selbini's apparatus went astray, she could only do a couple of songs in street costumes, so no report can be made upon her act. SABINA LA PEARL & CO: In a comedy act with two men planted in a box. Starts out as a ring act, but develops into a talking and singing act. Very good in this spot. 21 min in two, could be worked in one in a pinch. DICKINSON & DEAGON: Well known team which scored their usual success, etc., 18 min. in one. ART: A very fine living picture act reproducing famous posters of the War. An excellent act for this house. 15 min. full stage. MR. & MRS. JIMMIE BARRY: In their best act "The Rube" which scored its usual laughing hit. 22 min. in one. ROONEY & BENT: Fared as well as they always do which is very well indeed. 25 min. open in two, close in one. GEORGE N/BROWN: Assisted by Master Weston in their walking act, their part being just a short close with the funniest travesty I think we have ever had upon the stage here by Rooney & Barry. This thing will be the talk of the town in twenty four hours. I understand there is some controversy over this as to money. At anything within reason, I would advise no Manager to let it escape. 16 min. full stage. MOTION PICTURES: O. K.
