B.F. KEITH'S HIPPODROME. Aug 29th 1910 Cleveland, Ohio Ned Hastings. REED BROTHERS. 2 men. C.D.F. Time 14. Good hanging and contortionistic work on rings. Comedy above average. ALF GRANT & ETHEL HOAG. In 1. Time 19. Dialogue full of weary puns. Monologue with imitations, fair. Very mediocre act. TROVOLLO & Co. F.S. spec. Time 19. 1 man, 1 woman. A quiet ventriloquial production, suggesting but not copying Ed Reynard. Everything high class, but more speed would undoubtedly improve the act. VALERIE BERGERE PLAYERS in "What Happened In Room 44?" 2 men 1 woman. Hotel interior bed room. Time 14. A clever, quick action comedy sketch, with a tragic cloud that turns quickly at the end to a big laugh. AUGUSTA GLOSE. In 1. 13 min. As charming as ever with some new clothes. However her material is old. She ought to save enough from her salary to get new material. WILLIAM FARNUM.& CO. 2 men, 1 woman. Time 25. F.S. special. "The Mallet's Masterpiece." A sketch classic giving a romantic explantion of the mutilation of the Venus de Milo. Farnum is a big favotite here. HARRY FOX & THE MILLERSHIP SISTERS In 1. 2 women, 1 man. The girls dance well. The act made a decided hit. Fox is a very good comedian and got over in fine shape. His spontaneity is remarkable and he is bound to make a big name is handled well. JEWELL'S MANNIKINS. F.S. Special set. Time 20. This act has been brought up to date by Mrs Jewell and is as diverting as ever.
