REPORT ON COLUMBUS SHOW FOR WEEK OF NOV. 7, 1910. W. W. Prosser. YAMAMOTO BROS.: Well known Jap act made a good opener. Applause scattered throughout and good finish. 10 minutes, palace in 4. THE KEMPS: Colored man and woman, singing, dancing and comedy. All of the work went very well. Gained a lot of laughs and scored a moderately strong finish. 20 minutes, street in 1 and special drop in 1. CHASSINO: Shadowgraphist. Held the interest all the way through and got a good strong finish. 12 minutes, palace in 4. KENNEY, NOBODY & PLATT: Two men in a singling and talking act, one white face and the other black. Both good singers and the offering has a routine of good comedy talk. There were a number of strong laughs and in spots the act went exceedingly well. At other times it dropped down. Got by in fairly good shape and finished moderately strong. They no doubt were handicapped owing to the Kemps preceding them. 14 minutes, street in 1. BERT COOTE & CO.: In "A Lamb on Wall Street". Dramatic comedy sketch and a very good one. Mr. Coote is a thorough artist, and his two associates, man and woman, proved thoroughly satisfactory. There were many laughs, the comedy interest was maintained throughout, and the act achieved a good strong finish. Library in 3, 22 minutes. HART'S BATHING GIRLS: Notwithstanding the hard work of this troup the act at no time gained any applause to speak of. It held the interest, however, but the finish was only fair. Considering the work and the manner in which the act is put on, I can't account for its not going better, but it must be a case of the audience not particularly caring for it. The offering is in very good condition, so far as appearance is concerned, and really there is no fault to be found. Perhaps it will pick up during the week. 4 special sets, 20 minutes. CONLIN, STEELE & CARR: A genuine fun riot. The hit of the bill without question. These young people all make an excellent appearance, they are hard workers and scored individually and collectively. They had a hard time getting away from the audience. Could hardly imagine an act going bigger. 19 minutes, olio in 1. FOUR LONDONS: A wonderful casting act that held the attention all the way through. First class performers with lots of applause. Hard to beat. Garden in 5, 8 minutes. MOVING PICTURE: O. K.
