Report of PROVIDENCE SHOW, Week of November 14, 1910. Chas. Lovenberg, Manager. The show this week is unquestionably the best of the season. It seemed like old times to have the acts make hits one after the other as they did today. CHAS. & ROSE COVENTRY A little musical act that is all right for this spot. Hardly worth anything stronger. 13 Min. in Two. CLARK & BERGMAN Man and woman in a little talk about base-ball and some very clever singing and dancing. They scored very well indeed. Could hold a little more important position. 15 Min. in One. WALKER & STURM Two men in a novel performance of juggling tenis rackets. They do some very unusual tricks and the comedy also is very good. A splendid little act. 12 Min. F. S. Can do a short close in One. LUCIANO LUCCA A double Voice vocalist. A young man with a sort of a freak voice that no doubt appeals to a certain class. He managed to get quite a little applause. 9 Min. in One. THE NAMBA TROUPE Japanese acrobats. This act is little short of sensational. It is undoubtedly one of the best acts of the kind we ever had. It created a tremendous stir and can be said to have scored a big hit. No doubt will draw money. 11 Min. F. S. LEWIS and CASEY These two men have a good act but are inclined to lean to the suggestive. I cut more stuff out of their act than I have out of any three acts that we have played in the last two years. They have enough clean material in the act to eliminate that. When they have cleaned up they will be all right anywhere. 18 Min. in One. FANNY WARD & CO. Well-known comedy sketch which made a very big hit. 16 Min. F. S. H. T. McCONNELL These people have certainly got a novelty and they work it up in great style. They have improved it vastly since they played it at Union Hill and without question now, they are really a first-class act. Held this position in fine style. 18 Min. in One. GASTON & D'ARMOND Comedy singing and dancing act with a little piano playing and talking on the side. A well put together sketch that gave pleasure to the audience. 20 Min. Open F. S. Close in One. HANLON, DEAN & HANLON This act was added to the bill in order to get sufficient length and to enable us to play the Namba Troupe in the middle of the show. They held the position ver satisfactorily, although under ordinary conditions it is not just what I would want there. However, they did no harm. 11 Min. F. S. Can do a short close in One if required. MOTION PICTURES O. K.
