REPORT OF COLONIAL, LAWRENCE, WEEK OF DECEMBER 19, 1910. John F. Adams, Critic. The [Panklebs?] - "Clay Modellers" some very good modelling from clay, subjects well chosen, made a very good opening act. 9 min. full stage. Jennings and Renfrow - "The Boys who write their Own Songs" some of their material very good. Did not catch on with the afternoon audience but went very well at night. 11 min. in one Wright Huntington and Co - sketch "A Vision of the Night" a good story and holds the audience very well. 19 min. full stage. Musical Johnstons - Xylophone Experts, the very best i have ever seen, audience could'nt seem to get enough of them. Very big hit. 17 min. in one. Billy Gaston and Minerva Coverdale - singing, talking and a little dancing. Both Gaston and Miss Coverdale very clever and material is original. Miss Coverdale makes three changes of costume which are very beautiful. The act caught from the start and went very big. 14 min. full stage. Raymond and Caverly - we have had German comedians before but nothing that can touch this pair. A positive riot from the start. 21 min. in one. The Vivians - world's greatest sharpshooters. Man and a woman. Very clever shooting and made a great closing act, went very big. 17 min. full stage. Motion Pictures. O. K. MUSIC HALL Pawtucket R. I. Dec. 19--20--21 LA TOSKA Lady Contortionist, clever, does some nice work, well dressed, 8 minutes in one, went big AL LEONHARDT Comedy Juggler, comedy good, went well 10 minutes in one JOHNSON Ventriloquist, just uses one figure, does some good work, imitations at finish, 15 minutes, went big David R Buffinton
