REPORT OF COLONIAL, LAWRENCE, WEEK OF DECEMBER 26, 1910. John F. Adams, Critic. Marcantonis Trio - Gymnastics Jaw Work. A remarkable exhibition of jaw and muscle work on the rings, three fine big fellows with great stage presence, an act that should close any show. went very good. 9 min. full stage. Carbrey Bros. - simultaneous dancers. Very good dancing team that works all the time that they are on the stage. Went very good. 10 min. in one. Mr. and Mrs. Mark Murphy - playing "Clancy's Ghost" always welcome to my patrons, they never seem to grow old. "Clancy's Ghost" a great laughing comedy from the start. Went very big. 23 min. full stage, close in one. Strolling Players - two Italians playing guitar and Violin. Went very well. 13 min. in one. The Leading Lady - a tabloid musical comedy, 10 people, a first class company, staged fine, principals very clever and girls also, well put together and made a big hit. 2 in. full stage. Henry Clive, the smart entertainer, assisted by Mae Sturgis Walker - a good line of talk which he gets over in great style. Went good. 15 min. in one. Byers and Herman - in their panto,mime "The Clown's Dream" in three scenes. A great act, the contortion work of Herman is wonderful, made a great closing act and went very big. 17 min. full stage.
