BOSTON SHOW WEEK JANUARY 16, '11. R. G. Larsen. (Monday afternoon.) YANKEE & DIXIE. 16 minutes f.s. A fair dog act. Drags out rather long for a bill of this sort. KESSLER & LEE. 11 minutes in one. Singing and dancing. Two very good appearing boys with considerable novelty in their dancing. HOPKINS-AXTELL COMPANY. 18 minutes open and close in one. 3 scenes This act has a decided element of novelty, and the sleeping care scene was particularly good. In fact, they got almost as much comedy out of it as Mrs Crane gets out of hers. The act proved very satisfactory in this spot. HANEGAN POLO TROUPE. 9 minutes f.s. These two teams of polo players using bicycles, worked the game up to considerable excitement this afternoon and the act is one that I believe will be talked about. WORLD & KINGSTON. 28 minutes open and close in one. Playing about the same act they did in New York and going as well as ever. CONNOLLY & WEBB. 19 minutes f.s. Connelly and changed the beginning of his act somewhat and this afternoon did not get started as quick as he did when here before, but the finish was as big a scream as ever. EVA TANGUAY. Second week. 32 minutes in one. Got a good reception, sung the same songs as last week, and went just as big as ever. ALONZO-BRACCO TROUPE. 8 minutes f.s. Will eight people this troupe makes quite a showing, but there are one of two men that do all the work that is above the ordinary. I cannot see that it has any great element of novelty to make it stick out from others we have played. CUTS. World & Kingston - "Innocent Bessie Brown." Orchestra gag. Yankee and Dixie - Instructed not to throw U. S. flag on floor.
