Report on PROVIDENCE SHOW, Week of February 13, 1911. Chas. Lovenberg, Manager. The bill this week doesn't compare with those we have been giving of late, in fact in spots it is quite disappointing. ARNAUND BROS. Acrobatic, musical comedians. The act has been described previously. Serves all right for an opening act. 10 Min. F. S. Can close in One. THE [BOLDENS?] Colored man and woman. An act consisting of singing, dancing, whistling, acrobatics, etc. Only a fair act. 10 Min. in One. THE 5 MUSIKALGIRLS An off-shod of the Fadettes' Orchestra. The early part of this act was very slow. They have need of change of musical numbers for this portion. The last half of the act developed first rate and the business with the trap-drums at the end woke up the audience and they left making quite a hits at the finish. 20 Min. F. S. NIBLO'S TALKING BIRDS This is a corking good novelty. The sort of an act that should attract business. 15 Min. in One. ELITA PROCTOR OTIS It is beyond my understanding how this woman has got as good reports as she has on this act, because it is only good about 10 Min. out of the 27. That portion of it is very funny. Miss Otis looks about 78 years old and is a sight to behold. That will be about all for that. WILLETTE WHITTAKER Assisted by F. Wilbur Hill in the orchestra. A very novel singing act, which made good most thoroughly. I think Miss Whittaker has more ability and personality than about six of the English comediennes that we pay big salaries to all rolled together. 14 Min. in One. "INTERVIEWED" Dramatic sketch, Went very strong. The real head-liner of the bill. 21 Min. F. S. MARSHALL P. WILDER Mr. Wilder's first appearance here in several years, and made by far a bigger hit than on any previous visit, in fact, went as strong as any single talking act we have had this season. 19 Min. in One. WOODS & WOODS TRIO Wire-walking act with some very "bum" comedy. A very ordinary performance. 15 Min. F. S. DAYLIGHT MOTION PICTURES O. K.
