CHASE'S WASHINGTON, D.C. Week March 24th., 1913 BERTISH Mr. Bertish gives us a novel presentation of a strong man act and we can recommend him highly for a position such as this on any bill. F.S. ED MORTON A lot of new material and quite a big improvement over his offering of last year. His songs are good and delivered in a capable manner. A good act for this position. In one. AUTUMN HALL A young lady violinist who has mo mean ability on the instrument. She also has a pleasing personality which adds to the attractiveness of the act. Our only criticism is of her choice of selections, which we think might be slightly improved upon. However, we think well of the act and can comment it unreservedly. In one. TOM NAWN AND CO. A comedy sketch entitled "The College Coach" This playlet has many laughs in it and fitted in this spot quite acceptably. It gives an opportunity for Mr. Nawn's quaint Irish humor. The support is capable. F.S. INTERMISSION MC DEVITT, KELLY and LUCEY "The Piano Movers and the Actress" Sing, play piano, talk and dance. The eccentric dancing in this number is the feature and it kept the audience in a continual roar. They received many curtain calls and the people were loath to see them go. Open F.S. Close in one. FLANAGAN AND EDWARDS "Off and On", a sequel to "ON and Off". Another hit of the bill. These two men are very capable performers and we have only words of praise for their offering. Open F.S. Go to own drop in one. Then to house olio in one. AMELIA BINGHAM AND CO. Presenting "Big Moments from Great Plays", including "Joan of Arc" and "Madame Sans Gene". Miss Bingham's offering is of a decidedly artistic nature. Her supporting company is able and nothing need be said about Miss Bingham's dramatic ability. A fine act in every respect. F. S. KINEMACOLOR PLAY A dramatic two-reel subject entitled "Ofia, the Woman Spy". A good foreign motion picture play.
