98 SUMMER VAUDEVILLE B. F. KEITH'S THEATRE CINCINNATI, OHIO Week of June 22, 1913. J. F. Royal. COMEDY PICTURE: Split reel. VON DELL: 8 min. F. S., special velvet drop. Impersonator of musicians. His impersonations are fair, but his act warms up when he plays a solo on the saxophone. Gets a good closing. Act makes a very nice opener. LOUISVILLE. BRINDELL & HENRY: 8 min. in one. Boy and girl in singing and dancing act. The girl is cute, and has a pleasing voice and a nice appearance. Boy dances well. Are a little new yet, but they will probably develop. Went over very good. LOUISVILLE. COMEDY PICTURE: Split reel. PAT TOOHEY TRIO: 12 min. F. S. C.D.F. Irish comedian and bag pipe player, with a young boy and girl in dances. The Irish music and dancing went over very good, but would have gone much bigger if there were more Irish in the audience, instead of Germans. A splendid finish. LOUISVILLE. SINFONIA QUARTETTE: 13 min. in one. Four local boys, well dressed, and possessing excellent singing voices. Being their debut, they are naturally a little off in stage deportment, but altogether they behaved exceedingly well and went over very big. With a little better program and more experience, would make a great act. Their popularity brought business. JOHN S. KING & CO: 13 min. in 2 1/2, special. Four people, in the old sketch, "The Traveling Salesman". Proved a good laughing act, and put a lot of life into this part of the bill. Got a good closing. OPEN - THEN INDIANAPOLIS. BROWN & JACKSON: 15 min. in one. Man and woman in singing and talking act. Woman makes a wonderful appearance, and has good voice. Man with grotesque figure gets big laughs with his tight costume. Act went big all the way. LOUISVILLE. GENE MULLER TRIO: 8 min. F. S., special drop. Three men on the stage, and a woman in the orchestra playing drums. Men give hoop rolling and juggling exhibition. They work fast and neat, and close with aeroplane hoop throwing trick. Proved a good closing act. LOCAL MOTION PICTURES: Best we have had, and still holding interest.
