VICTORINE & ZOLAR: Two women. 10 min. in one, own plush; close 3 min. F. S. A very classy song and dance act. Excellent wardrobe, and all numbers nicely rendered. A bit hit. LOUISVILLE. McBRIDE & CAVANAUGH: Two men. 13 min. in one. Sidewalk conversationalists. Act is fair, but lacks ginger. Just got by. LOUISVILLE. LYDIA YEAMANS TITUS: Assistant by Fred Titus. 14 min. F. S. This is the same act Mrs. Titus has been doing for years; nevertheless it went big, her numbers all being nicely rendered. LOOP PARK, FAIRMOUNT. W. VA. [WEST VIRGINIA] LOCAL MOTION PICTURES: 12 min. Best we have had this season. RUSH-LING-TOY: 3 men and one woman. 10 min. F. S., own act. Rush-Ling-Toy is one of the best illusionists seen here, and by far the fastest worker ever seen in this kind of act. A big hit. OPEN. BENJAMIN BARNARD: 10 min. in one. A robust tenor of the Caruso type, full of quality, but under bad control at times. Went good. LOUISVILLE. KIPP & KIPPY: 12 min. F. S. Man and woman in comedy juggling. Very old material. Went well, this being the only comedy act on the bill. LOUISVILLE COMEDY PICTURE: Split reel. REMARKS: Weather here excessively hot, with little sign of a let-up. L. G. Beer.
