[/preprinted] Report on acts playing The Scenic Temple,Week of July 14,1913. The Lubin Trio. 2 Girls and 1 man who work 8 minutes in one. Singing and dancing. Some of their numbers are-Buck dance,Dutch character song and dance,and chicken reel. A good act,and it pleased the audience. The Hudsons. A man and a woman in a ventriloquial novelty. Work in garden in two. Use three dummies,and their act is composed of songs by these dummies and talk of the usual kind for these acts.The man makes faces on his hands by painting on the m,and this is very funny and takes well. The act is pleasing to the audience. Mazie Rowland. A comedienne who works about 10 minutes in one. She does comedy songs with piano,tells some good stories,and gives a good imitation of a child singing a song. A good act,and went good. The Davies Family. Work in full stage. There a re three men,three women,and one boy in the act.They do some very good tricks,especially the small boy, who does tumbling and on the whole the act is good. 15 minutes [separate piece of paper] Report on acts playing The Scenic TempleWeek ofJuly 17,1913. Show seen Monday matinee by C.L.McNally. Goldie Bros. Work 12 minutes in one.Dancing.The dancing is of the ordinary kind excepy for one specialty done by one of the brothers. Good dancers but only went fair. Renair and Ward. Work in special drop in two. A flirtation sketch,entitled"Ocean Breezes",with songs,jokes,and some clever comedyA good act and it went good.Does 14 minutes. Leslie Thurston. A lady xylophonist who works in one,12 minutes.She is a very good player on the xylophone,and she goes very good. A very good act. She makes one change,wearing two pretty costumes. The Bison City Four Four men,one of whom works as a tramp,one as an Italian,one as a policeman,and one straight. The act is a screamingly funny sketch,and has the audience in roars most of the time. They all have splendid voices,and their singing together is of the first order.They do some clever acrobatic comedy,and their talk is very good. One of their numbers is "John Brown's body",and old as it is,they have the audience in screams with it. A very good act,and it cleaned up both matinee and evening. 17 minutes in special drop in 1 1/2
