B. F. KEITH'S THEATRE, CINCINNATI, OHIO. Week of Sept. 28th, 1913. John F. Royal. HARRY DE COE 10 min. F.S. C.D.F. This well-known act made a splendid opening to a great show. Mr. DeCoe held the attention of the audience, and, despite a great number of people coming in late, went big. LOUISVILLE FIELD BROS. 10 min. in One. Olio. Two boys, doing neat dancing act. Nothing out of the ordinary. They work well and look well. In the afternoon they were inclined to stall a little, but overcame this in the Evening. They closed in a satisfactory manner. OPEN HOMER MILES AND COMPANY 19 min. F.S. Special Set. Two men and two women in comedy drama. Story of janitor preventing breaking up of a home. Some good laughs and amusing situations, and a human interest story interwoven. Went over in good shape. INDIANAPOLIS CLEO GASCOIGNE 14 min. in One. Olio. Cute little woman with a voice of exceptional quality, but lacking in strength. She was very pleasing and interested throughout, but her program was not just the sort to suit this audience. She carries an orchestra leader, who is inclined, by his gymnastic efforts, to detract attention from the artist on the stage. Closed well. INDIANAPOLIS LASKY'S RED HEADS 51 min. F.S. Big company of girls with J. B. Carson, in one of the best musical comedies ever produced here. Audience started laughing at the opening of this act and didn't finish until the close of the show. Not a dull moment in it, and Mr. Carson, who is an exceptionally clever comedian, proved an immense hit. This act will surely cause talk. Their closing was an ovation. INDIANAPOLIS LEW ANGER 14 min. in One. With his monologue of the German soldier, Mr. Anger had a hard spot following the Red Heads, but he certainly made good, and started them laughing where the Red Heads left off, continuing until the close of his act. CHICAGO GEORGE FELIX AND THE BARRY GIRLS 21 min. F.S. Close in One. Same big hit as on their former visits. One would think the audience had laughed themselves out, but Felix kept them in spasms. Great closing. COLUMBUS HUBERT DYER & COMPANY 7 min. F.S. Two men in comedy ring act. They have special drop, but could not use it, because it was not fire-proof. After all the laughing before the act, dyer and his partner went tremendous. They closed big. One of the best laughing shows ever seen in this house. LOUISVILLE LOCAL MOTION PICTURES Very interesting.
