Report of Providence Show September 22, 1902.
Show as a whole is quite good. The only fault I have to find is there is too much rag-time, and coon songs as Klein and Clifton The Baileys, Genaro and Bailey, Amelia Summerville, and Smith, Doty & Coe all give us plenty of that kind of music, however, the show went very well with the audience.

3 shows in 12 min. Hellman, Magician. This man does some very clever work but is handicapped by a bad personality, still from a 3 a day standpoint and his salary may be classed as a fairly good act. Klein and Clifton. 3 shows, 13 min. open in two, close in one. Klein and Clifton, singers, dancers, and comedy. This act is very course to the more refined people in the audience, although it gets considerable applause from the stairs. The mans eccentric dancing was good, but the womans was very bad.
Proveo. 18 min. 10 to his act in one. Jugglers, Very good 3 a day act.
The Baileys. 3 shows, 13 min. in one. Colored singers and dancers. This act goes as strong in this house as Johnson and Dean.
The Three Livingstons. 2 min. full stage. Acrobats. Same act they have usually done which is noble and attractive.
Aurie Dagwell. 12 min. in one. Contralto vocalist. This girl is very good, in fact somewhat of an improvement of a Maude Courtenay, whom she somewhat copies and resembles.
Genero and Bailey. 2 shows, 25 min. full stage. These people are doing the same act they have frequently done with some new interpretations, and the first part of the act goes very strong but weakens toward the finish and picks up again at the very last.

Lilian Burkhart. 2 shows, 17 min. full stage. Love and the Ticker. Hardly as good a sketch as she has done here before, and her support is very bad. At best it is only a good act and a very short one.
Amelia Summerville. 2 shows, 17 min. in one. In stories, songs, imitations, etc. She went exceptionally well with the audience, and in my mind is a very good act to have on the bill in our houses.
Smith, Doty & coe. 2 shows, open full stage, close in one. 20 min. An exceptionally good musical comedy act. In some respects better than the Watterbury Brothers and Tenny. The made a big hit this afternoon.
The Three Marvellous Merrills. 2 shows, full stage, 17 min. Bicycle act which is of anything stronger than we have had.
