REPORT OF PROVIDENCE SHOW, OCTOBER 6TH, 1902. Show as a whole very good, couple of the opening acts a little bit weak, but don't do any harm. Stereoptican As usual. John Daly & Annie Devere. Irish sketch, "The Janitress", which is good enough to open the show with. 16 min. clossing in one, 3 shows. Marshall and Lane. Two men in a comedy sketch. Introducing a number of imitations of animals and instruments. The comedy is very bad, but the idea, is novel, and for that reason may be called a fairly good act. 14 min. closing in one, 3 shows. Yackley and Bunnell. Musical comedy act, for which the comedy is fairly good, and the music very ordinary, excepting the man playing upon the bottles Fairly good act, 17 min. closing in one, 3 shows. Webb Trio. Two men and a woman, acrobatic act. Fair. 8 min. full stage, 3 shows. Hollis and Howard. Illustrated songs. Man is fair and a good singer, but the colors and pictures would give one the nightmare. Somehow another these acts always go well with the audience, so it must be classed as a good act. 15 min. in one, 3 shows. Alburtus and Miller. A very novel act introducing club swinging, and cornet solos by Miss Millar, and some fair comedy. Very good 3 a day act, 17 min. closing in one, 3 shows. The Sa-Vans. The same acrobatic comedy act they have always done over the circuit. 15 min. closing in one, 2 shows. can be classed as a good act but not worth the salary which we are paying for it. 17 min in one, 2 shows. James F. Kelley & Dorothy Kent. In a most excellent comedy, singing and dancing sketch, with a little character bit by Miss Kent, a la, Eva Williams. 17 min. closing in one. 2 shows. Charles T. Aldrich. In his usual act with a number of new opening features. Notably a burlesque on Ching Ling Foo, which is the greatest thing of the kind we have had. Very good act. 17 min. 2 shows.Quigley Brothers. In the best talking act, as well as the most notable ides, in that line, we have had in a long time. Very strong. 2 shows. 18 min. in one. Will M. Cressy and Blanche Dayne. In their new act, "Bill Biffin's Baby." In my mind, the best thing he has as yet given us. 23 minutes, 2 shows. Biograph. O.K.
