110 110 REPORT ON SHOW KEITH'S THEATRE, PROVIDENCE, R. I. DEC. 15, 1902 (CHAS. LOVENBERG) The big end of the show is very good, but the opening acts are very weak, especially the first three. Wonderful Busch. Muscular work on a trapeze. Something after the style of Pascatel, but not so good. By making long waits between his tricks he manages to stretch his act to six min. The turn is one of no value at all. 8 min. in two, 3 shows. Frank Bowman. Magician. This man does the usual three a day card act, but is not as good as most of the others, and as we have so much of that kind of work unless he is clever the act is not at all cared for as is the case of this act. 12 min. in one, 3 shows. Louis Granat. Whistler. This is a pleasing turn but does not make the impression in this house it seems to have in the other Cities. 9 min. in one, 3 shows. Mr. Dooley. Black-faced comedian, singer and dancer. Good three a day act, if placed early enough on the bill. 15 min. in one, 3 shows. Paloma Ladies Quartette. This is a good act as it is something of a novelty, but they do not do any real good singing until their third song, "La Paloma", which thy give exceptionally well. 10 min in one, 3 shows. went better later Farnum & Howard. Acrobatic comedians. This act by no means filled the place made vacant by the :three Yoscarrys", but as I presume they were got at short notice they have to do. The act is only fair. 10 min. full stage, 2 shows. Harry Brown. Colored comedian. This was the beginning of the show. This fellow is exceptionally clever and made good. 13 min. in one, 2 shows. Snyder & Buckley. Comedy musical acts. Dutch and straight. Best act of its kind I have seen in some time. Kept the audience thoroughly interested for 30 minutes. Full stage, close in one, 2 shows. Hal Merritt. Mimic and sketch artist. As clever as always. 20 min. in one, 3 shows. The Rossow Midgets. Their usual act which went strongly. 10 min. fill stage, 2 shows. Four Mortons. Very fine comedy, singing and dancing act. Clara Morton is one of the most pleasing personages I know of in Vaudeville. Act is a big hit. Open in one, close in three, 25 min. 2 shows. Charlie Rossow. Sings. As usual very good. 7 min. in one. Rose Naynon's Birds. This is by no means a wonderful act, but it is really money to us as we really get anything of that kind, and it pleases the children as well as many older folks. Biograph. O.K. Keenan's Trio - Fair sketch - 3 shows 20 m. - close 1.
