F. in 2; close in one-German comedians; man and woman in singing and talking act; only fair. O'Rourke & Burnette-3 shows-15 mins.-S. B. F. in 2; close in one-Man and woman in a comedy and dancing act. They introduce their boy about seven, who also sings and dances. Fair act. Best team of wooden shoe dancers since the house opened. John LeClair-3 shows-14 mins.-car. in 2; close in one-Novelty juggler; same old act; interesting for an early act on the bill. Cherry & Bates-3 shows-12 mins.-landscape in 3-Two men in a bicycle act; just a fair act; no new tricks; go well. Barton & Wakefield-3 shows-13 mins.-St in one-Two men in a cross-fire talking act, a la Fields & Ward, but not as good as the latter. One works straight ; the other [?]; made good. Fadette Women's Orchestra-2 shows-30 mins.-S. B. F. in 2-As usual a feature of the bill. Hattie Kean & Co.- 2 shows-17 mins.-[?] in 3-Sketch by Ella Wheeler Wilcox "her First Divorce Case". Four people, two men and two women. Sketch is full of action; bright dialogue; went well. John & Bertha Gleason-2 shows-13 mins. in one-Boy and girl in a neat singing and dancing act; very good. Freyda Bros.-2 shows-10 mins.-Sar in 3-[?] men in a hand balancing act; was the hit of the show. They have every hand balancing act in the business skinned a mile. Their gracefulness gave a finish to the act that brings applause after each stunt. Billy S. Clifford-2 shows-15 mins. in one-"The Broadway Chappie", clever little singing, dancing and monologue; made good in his place on the bill. Johnstone Bennett-2 shows-25 mins.-Fancy in 3-Sketch "A Quiet Evening at Home." Miss Bennet is always clever and she has added some new and bright lines to the sketch. The act is full of ginger and action and thoroughly pleased the audience. The Baileys-3 shows-13 mins.-St. in one-Colored man and woman doing Johnson & Dean's act. Their wind-up with the shutter dance saves them in their place/on the bill. I do not consider them as good as Johnson & Dean, either in singing or dancing. Rene & Richard-2 shows-20 mins. -Landscape in 3; close in one-Two men in an acrobatic comedy act; one working straight; the other grotesque. A good acrobatic act under ordinary circumstances, but after the Bros. Brayde seemed rather tame. Their comedy at the finish saved their act. Leon Morris' Ponies-2 shows-20 mins.-Garden in 3-2nd week; pleased the many children present; and the afternoon audience featuring children. R. A. DANIELS Will F. Denny-2 shows-12 mins. in one-Comic singer working in full dress; worked hard this afternoon and made his hit with one of Jas. T. Power's songs in "The Messenger Boy." (Followed the Fadettes on the bill.)
