137 137 HYDE & BEHMAN'S Week commencing December 22nd, 1902 HYDE'S COMEDIANS TOM HEARN English Jester. Has a new act, which is a good opener. He continues to demolish everything in sight and creates the usual responsive laugh. Full stage. Time 13. NICHOLS SISTERS Black Face Singers of Coon Songs. Are very clever in their mannerisms and dialect, and with their repertoire of popular selections, make good. Work in one. 10 min. TROLVOLLO Ventriloquist. Has introduced a few new features to his already prolific act. He works his mechanical figures cleverly and the number of changes of voice, expression and patois, prove him to be a headliner in this class of work. Full stage; closing in one. Time 17 minutes. MUSICAL COLBYS as usual a very strong act. Master Frank has a good deal of hard work cut out for him in his imitation of Creatore, the eccentric Band Leader and makes a most decided hit with it. Little Byrle is as cute and fascinating as ever, and received an enthusiastic reception at each performance. Full stage, closing in one. Time 28 minutes. THE HALLOWAY TRIO Slack Wire Performers. Three men, one of whom makes up as a girl. By long odds the greatest exhibition of this sore we have ever played. In clean cut work, elaborate dressing and graceful action, their entertainment is of a class difficult to match. The wonderful agility, ease and accuracy in motion, and the numerous novelties they introduce, combine to make their act one of the biggest hits of the season. Have two assistants. use full stage. Time 13 min. THE FOUR MORTONS Singing and Dancing Comedians. Sam Morton is probably the best Irish Comedian on the vaudeville stage to-day and is ably assisted by his wife, son and daughter. Their act has not changed any since their last appearance at this house, but as it is, stands as one of the best sources of wholesome entertainment we have ever presented. The rendition of the English Costermonger's song by the quartette is a notable feature. Full stage; closing in one. Time 26 minutes. PICCOLO MIDGETS (4) Have introduced some new features to their act. Are clever little people and always make good. Open in one and close with full stage. Time 15 minutes. HALL & STALEY Comedians. On account of the illness of one member of the team, this cat was cut out for the greater part of the week. However their sketch of "Up-to-date Burglars" is the same as ever and creates continuous laughter and applause. Full stage. Henry W. Behman
