157 REPORT ON SHOW KEITH'S THEATRE, WEEK OF JANUARY 19TH, 1903. (CHARLES LOVENBERG) Stereopticon. As usual. Skatennelli. Trapeze and ring performer. A very poor offering. 12 minutes full stage. Trask & Gladden. Song and dance. At best may be called fair. 9 min. in one. Biograph. Best collection of views we have had this season. 14 minutes in one. Baker & Lynn. Comedy sketch, "The Electric Boy". A very funny offering and may be classed good, very easily. 22 minutes in three. Conroy & McDonald. Irish talking act. Put in to replace Bicknell & Watson who disappointed without notice of any kind. Conroy and McDonald have not made their appearance up to this writing. Will report on them later. The Brothers French. Unicyclists. Good act, although too short to be classed as very good considering the quality of the work they offer. 7 minutes full stage. The World's Trio. Singers, dancers, and change artists. This team made quite a hit their act being out of the usual rut and very pleasing. Open in one close in two with center door. 19 minutes. The Golden Gate Quintette. Colored singers and dancers. This is a very lively act and made one of the hits of the bill. 15 minutes open and close in one the middle section of their act in two. Wright Huntington and Company. In "A Stolen Kiss". This sketch has always been good enough to carry itself but this season Huntington's support is very poor, act may, however, be classed as good. 21 minutes in three. O. K. Sato. Comedy juggler. Laughable hit. 14 minutes in one. Freydo Brothers. Hand balancers. Easily the best act of the kind we have ever played; 9 minutes full stage. Charlie Case. Black-faced monologuist. Fully as strong as ever. 17 minutes in one. Bert Howard and Leona Bland. In "A Strange Boy". This act was handicapped considerably by the difficulty of his position on the bill, going on quite late and also by the resemblance of the plot to the sketch of Baker & Lynn which went on earlier in the bill however, they made good and the act can be classed as very good. 28 minutes in 3. Nellie V. Parker. Character change artist. This is a fair act which would be better did it not take so long to make her changes. 20 minutes in one. Rice & Walters. Acrobatic comedy. The comedian's falls are the most natural and funniest of any that I know of. A very good act in a small way. 10 min full stage can close in one. George W. Stewart. Imitations of animals, steamboat whistles, etc. Good act although not strong. Should be got on before eight o'clock at night. 12 minutes in one. Show as a whole is very satisfactory. General comment by patrons is that it is among the best we have had.
