CHASE'S EMPIRE. CLEVELAD, O. WEEK O FEB. 9TH. POWELL'S ELECTRIC THEATRE. A novelty and very neat. Carries his own set. 12 minutes, full stage. CAROLL JOHNSON. Does fairly well in his place on the bill with his songs and monologue. 23 minutes, in one. NED WAYBURN'S JOCKEY CLUB. Second week. A very pretty ensemble act which has proved to be a very popular attraction. 16 minutes, full stage. LOTTA GLADSTONE. Not much change in her act but always goes big [good] here. 18 minutes in one. THE THREE KEATONS. A knock---about comedy act in which Master "Buster" scores bery strongly. 22 minutes, full stage, closing in one. EVA MUDGE. First appearance here and the hit of the show, notwithstanding the fact that she has not much of a voice and still sings "Bill Bailey". Her changes however, are quickly and deftly accomplished and altogether is a very neat offering. 15 minutes, full stage, closing in one. BRANNAN & MARTINI. Burlesque magical act. Fill their place on the bill very acceptably. The act is much improved since lasat seen here. 18 minutes, full stage. THE VITAGRAPH. Miscellaneous views. THE ORPHEUM. WEEK COMMENCING FEBRUARY 9, 1903. I am playing the Ross & Fenton Show this week of which I have sent a report before with the following turns added. --------------------------------------------- HAYES & SUITS 19 min. Open and close in one. Singing and dancing act. Very fair act and went well with the audience. CARL NOBEL 18 min. Full stage. Ventriloquist. His walking figures are excellent, but his singing is rather poor; still the act went remarkably well. JACKSON FAMILY 14 min. Full stage. Bicyclists. Six people, - three men and three girls. A showy act, well dressed, but the riding does not amount to very much; still it seems to please. PERCY G. WILLIAMS.
