226 CHASE'S THEATRE. WASHINGTON, D.C. Week March 30th. THE BAILEYS. A very fair opening set with a good finish. Singing and dancing. All in one. GIRARD AND GARDINER. Gardiner is just as funny as ever and seems to make as much of a hit as when he first played. Full stage. HILL AND WHITAKER. Banjoists and vocalists. Just an ordinary act in one. JOHN T. SULLIVAN AND COMPANY. Do not regard the sketch as very strong, but the fact that he was for several seasons a favorite member of a local stock company gave him a tremendous reception and he will draw money all week. He is a good actor. Full stage. INTERMISSION. CUSHMAN HOLCOMB AND CURTIS.They present a revised version of their old sketch and this one is entitled "A Winter Session". Comedy is very good, singing excellent and entire work a decided success. Can close in one if necessary. EDDIE MACK. Not an eccentric dancer, but a descriptive dancer and one of the best front scenes of superior novelty we have played this season. MARIE DRESSLER. There is none like her. She took and carried the house by storm. Full stage, can close in one if necessary. THE VITAGRAPH. In fire scenes. E. Winnifred DeWitt.
