HYDE & BEHMAN'S
Brooklyn.
Week commencing May, 11th, 1903.
THE TWO SCHRODES. Dancing comiques.
Man and woman. This is a good opening act, a little slow, but pleased the audience. They sing and dance fairly well, comedy good, the woman is in soubrette costume, very neat and pretty.
Full stage, Time 18 minutes.
TURNER'S PICKANINNNIES. and ANNA CONRAD.
This is better than the general run of such acts. Miss Conrad is very good, and has two bright little picks, who do their part well.
Open in one, then two, close in one. Time 12 min.
ADAMINI & TAYLOR. Wandering Minstrels.
Man and woman, as musicians they are more than good, comedy amounts to very little, however, the act went very strong.
Full stage. Time 13 minutes.
JOHNNIE CARROLL. Brooklyn's Favorite Singer.
Has some new stuff and made good. He is a Brooklyn man and consequently a favorite.
All in one. Time 17 minutes.
McMAHON'S WATER-MELON GIRLS.
Two men and seven girls. This is a new act, it opens with stage in two, girls in Indian costume, singing chorus, and McMahon and Nevins, dressed in handsome black suits, following with song and dance, assisted by the girls, then stage opens in full, girls in water-melon suits, standing on each side of stage, a large drop curtain in rear representing a steamboat all lighted, coming up to dock. On the dock is an immense water-melon filled with electric lights, which opens and shows McMahon and Nevins, in black face, reclining inside. They come out sing and dance, assisted by the chorus. It is one of the prettiest and best acts, in that line, ever seen on our stage. It is a great hit, they are encored four and five times, after each song and dance, They made such a hit that we keep them on an-other week, adding one new song and dance, and some new scenery.  They carry their own scenery which is very effective.

COOK & DON. Captain and the Kidder.
A good talking act, creates great laughter and went quite strong. All in one, Time 22 minutes.
EUGENE SANDOW. The greatest "Feats of strength" and Display of Muscles" act in the world. His lecture on Physical culture at afternoon performance, is very amusing and instructive. He is too well known to require any extended comment. Time, afternoon 35 min, evening 22 min.
NICHOLS SISTERS.
This act is the same as usual. It goes great here, and is probably the best black face sister act i the business. All in one. Time 27 minutes.
LESLIE BROTHERS.
Mirth and Music. A good closing act. Good comedy and fair musicians, goes better than most closing acts. Full stage. Time 13 minutes.
