NEW YORK SHOW, WEEK OF JULY 6th. -- 2. It was some time before the audience caught on to the wire part of it, but when they did they appreciated it to the fullest extent and the act went with a howl. 14 minutes, full stage. YRR. -- FISHER & CARROLL. -- About the same sort of act that they have always done in the house. Their energy, of course, being reduced on account of the heat, but they still do a funny turn. 16 minutes in one. GYH. -- PALFREY & HILTON. -- Two men in a comedy bicycle act, one of them made up straight and the other as a Hebrew. These people do a clever act, as they have always done, and the comedian's methods are entirely original; besides which he introduces some really remarkable feats on the wheel. It is a good strong act. 11 minutes, full stage. AR. -- VITAGRAPH. __ They give us a fairly good collection of views this week, the feature of which is the departure of Sir Thomas Lipton from the other side, the film of which runs probably three minutes, and while it is a remarkably good piece of photographic work, there is hardly sufficient variety in it to warrant such a long film. 28 minutes in one. After a slight rain this morning, it cleared off remarkably hot, the consequence being an audience who would hardly lay a fan down long enough to applaud. It is, therefore, pretty hard work to get a really correct impression of the show, but I think that it will be an average summer bill so far as quality is concerned S. K. HODGDON
