Report of PROVDENCE SHOW, Week of March 27, 1911. Chas. Lovenberg, Manager. The bill plays first rate and I think it is a show that may get us a little money. The audience seemed satisfied, practically everything going for its full value. THE HAMLINS Novelty singing and dancing act that pleased. 15 Min. in One. ELIDA MORRIS Singing comedienne, with changes. This is a very clever girl, gets her stuff over first rate; thoroughly all right for a No. 2 spot. Might hold a little bit better one. The only objection to the act at present is that she is a little slow in making her changes. I think that she is getting a little more money than she is worth in spite of her cleverness. 12 Min. in One. SERGEANT BRENNAN Diabolo expert. Far and away, the best act of the kind we ever had. A novelty that interested everyone, secured lots of applause and should make enough talk to draw a little money. 12 Min. F. S. PHIL STAATS Fat comedian, piano player. Did very well indeed. Could have held a more important spot with satisfaction. 16 Min. in One. McCONNEL & SIMPSON Well-known comedy skit which scored very strongly. 24 Min. F. S. Mme. NORWOOD Grand Opera vocalist, who made a hit greater than on her previous visit, unquestionably the greatest singing act that we ever had. 16 Min. in One. The audience didn't want to let her go. CHAS. GRAPEWIN & CO. In "The Awakening of Mr. Pipp." Scored strongly all through, in fact went much better than I expected he would. 20 Min. F. S. GOLDSMITH & HOPPE Comedy musical act. Held this spot fairly well. 16 Min. in One. ONETTI SISTERS A very good act of trapeze, rings, teeth work, etc. 9 Min. F. S. MOTION PICTURES O. K.
