BOSTON SHOW - WEEK - MAY - 15 - 1911. R. G. Larsen. INGE & FARRELL. 14 minutes in one. This is a very good act, and it is rather too bad to open the show with it. The girls themselves wanted to close to-day, but finally went on. They did very well in this hard spot. THE FOUR CHARLES. Jugglers, head-balancers and acrobats. 9 minutes f.s. special drop. This is a very good act and gets lots of applause, but it seems to me it would be worth their while to get a set of their own. As it is they do a transformation that is good, what there is of it, but it seems too bad that the act itself should lose from its stage settings. GOLDSMITH & HOPPE. 18 minutes in one. These boys have played here before and went big. To-day they got laughs all through their act and a great hand at the finish. FRANK MILTON & DELONG SISTERS. 17 minutes f.s. special set. "At Alfalfa Junction." Was rather disappointed in this act after the reports and this afternoon it did not get over at all. To-night, however, further up on the bill, it went just fairly well. BESSIE WYNN. 20 minutes in one. A couple of her songs were a little too strong for this house, and this evening she substituted her old "Oo, Oo," number for the two. She went very well, got a good hand, has a pleasing appearance, and all that, still I can hardly see the price. AGNES SCOTT & HARRY KEANE. "Drifting." 16 minutes f.s. special set. Here is a very beautiful act that was evidently built for the small time houses, that is, as far as the scenery is concerned. Another case of losing a lot. However, Miss Scott is a favorite here and the act went very well, although it is not as big a feature as "The Wall Between." BERT FITZGIBBON. 19 minutes in one. This man was the hit of the show. I played him one Sunday night some time ago and he was nothing short of a riot. This afternoon and evening he duplicated his success and there is no doubt the Office should lose no time in booking him up for all the time he wants. PROF. ANDREWS & "THE MAGIC KETTLE." 20 minutes f.s. This is a novelty put on very much better than the old liquid air stunt of years ago. Andrews has played the act abroad considerably and this is the first time in America. It certainly got the audience guessing, and exhibiting "The Magic Kettle" in the lobby after the performance proved quite a feature. Here is a good novelty that can be secured at a very low price just at present. PICTURES. "The Panama Canal." Very good picture of canal work. CUTS. Bessie Wynn - songs "Something coming down" and "Who are you with to-night?" Frank Milton - "milking cow with monkey wrench." MUSIC HALL Pawtucket R. I. May 15-16-17 McAleaveys Marvels Two men, Jumpers, neatly dressed no comedy, clever, went very good 8 minutes, full stage Houseley & Nicholas Two colored men, musical act, comedy, 14 minutes in one, went very well Maxims Models 5 people, the old Living Picture idea, but very much improved, 9 subjects, well done, 12 minutes, went big David R Buffinton
