BOSTON SHOW - WEEK - JULY 10, 1911. R. G. Larsen. (Monday Afternoon.) REM BRANDT. 12 minutes in one. This is a rathe good novelty in the way of cartooning, squirting ink on the screen. The work is clever, as well as keeping the audience guessing. MAJESTIC MUSICAL FOUR. 16 minutes f.s. A fair musical act. FIELD BROTHERS. 9 minutes in one. Blackface singing and dancing. A rather neat act, well put on. The boys are good dancers. EDWIN HOLT & CO. 19 minutes f.s. In "The Mayor and the Manicure," by George Ade. Going as well as ever. ETHEL MACDONOUGH. 11 minutes in one. Notwithstanding the bad hot weather house, Miss MacDonough was a great disappointment. Her stuff is coarse on the extreme, and we have had to cut out verses from every number, and her whole manner is certainly not such as to appeal to our patrons. I have put her up on the bill for tonight. She has discarded her bathing drop and modified the bathing costume somewhat, and now there is very little left of her act. "THE MEISTERSINGERS." 38 minutes f.s. Fourth week. This week about half of the programme is Irish melodies, and it is one of the best they have given. Miss Nellie Elliott, who last week did the Scotch dances in connection with the Scotch week, is doing an Irish dance and the hornpipe, and she is certainly one of the cleverest dancers in this line that has ever been on this stage. BERT FITZGIBBON. 21 minutes in one. The fact that Fitzgibbon, with one of the smallest houses that we have had and sweltering at that, was unable to get off until he had done almost everything he knows, is evidence enough of the hit he made. PATTY & DESPARADO. 9 minutes f.s. Acrobats and head balancers. A very good closing act. CUTS. Ethel MacDonough - "stock" verse. "Seeing what you will get verse" containing reference to man's thighs. BERT FITZGIBBON - "OH You Ethel." Music Hall, Pawtucket. Week of July 10-11-12 Armada - Woman - Musical Novelty - (Dressed nice) 8 min in one - went good Raymond, Leighton & Morse - 3 men - Comedy Novelty - "Rehearsal of William Tell" - 15 min. - went very good Five Merry MacGreggors - 4 men and a woman - Highland Costumes - scenery and effects good - 17 min - went great - A Good Show
