BOSTON SHOW - WEEK SEPTEMBER 11, 1911. (R. G. Larsen.) (Monday Afternoon.) HEYN BROS. 8 minutes f.s. This is a very good balancing act that opened the show very satisfactorily this afternoon. JOE KELSEY. 13 minutes in one. Kelsey is a single singer. Has a routine of rathskeller songs without the assistance of others to break up the monotony. However, he got away with four songs in good shape after the style of Ed Morton and finished strong. STALEY & BIRBECK. In Transformation Musical Act. 10 minutes f.s. This act worked about as well if not better than I ever saw it. The transformation fairly took the audience off their feet this afternoon, and got a big hand. ALF GRANT & ETHEL HOAG. 20 minutes in one. With considerable new stuff, and going as big as ever. ROSE COGHLAN & CO IN "BETWEEN MATINEE & NIGHT." 26 minutes f.s. Although our audiences invariably grow restless in sketches, this one held the interest this afternoon and closed in good shape. RAY COX. 17 minutes in one. Doing pretty much the same act and closing with the baseball girl, not quite so strong as formerly. JOE HART'S "BATHING GIRLS." 20 minutes f.s. Same act as played here before and going as well as ever. A good big picture act. ED WYNN & ED RUSSON. 14 minutes in one. Wynn has an entirely new line of stuff, and a new partner, an Englishman. This afternoon he went as big as ever he did if not bigger. In fact, he was a particularly bright spot on the bill. LANE & O'DONNELL. 9 minutes f.s. A riot from start to finish. One of the best of the knockabout acts. CUTS. Wiggles in shadowgraph in "Bathing Girls." Bijou Theatre, Pawtucket, R. I. Week of Sept. 11-16 September 11, 12, 13. Dave Hill, Singing and Dancing. Kaisers Terriers. Murphy & Andrews, Classy Act. September 14, 15, 16. Latham & Greenlalgh, Comedy Sketch "Spud". Julia Tracy, Character Changes. Rice & Walters, Koundabout Country Sketch.
