Report on PROVIDENCE SHOW, Week of September 25, 1911. Chas. Lovenberg, Manager. The show plays exceptionally well when the price aside from Miss Russell's salary is considered. WENTWORTH, VESTA & TEDDY Fast acrobatic comedy act with a particularly clever dog. An act that could easily hold down a more important spot on the bill and make good. 9 Min. in One. BARRY & HALVERS & CO. This is a new act for these people - the scene is laid in a drug store. There is an additional woman in the act and their usual singing and eccentric dancing is introduced. The act did fairly well and with a little more playing will, no doubt, be successful. 18 Min. Open F. S. Close in One, about 5 Min. THE GUATAMALAN MARIMBA BAND These people play well, but their form of instrument being somewhat of a xylophone, they didn't do as well as their ability might seem to warrant. Unquestionably, the xylophones are a thing of the past. The act, while all right, is not worth the money we are paying, at least to this house. 15 Min. in Two, Can work in One. KATE WATSON It only remains for me to repeat the many good things that have been said of Miss Watson in other houses - she made an unqualified hit, this afternoon with her quiet unctuous humor. 11 Min. in One. SALERNO Unquestionably one of the best, if not THE best, of the jugglers that we get, and his act is even better now than heretofore. 17 Min. F. S. THE HEIM CHILDREN Scored their usual hit. 14 Min. in One. LILLIAN RUSSELL Miss Russell did the drawing in of the people, as we expected, in spite of a very warm day, and she made good decidedly. She was received with plenty of applause and left the stage with the audience perfectly happy - not at her going - but with what she did. 15 Min. F. S. THE 3 WHITE KUHNS I like this act better than any of the three men acts that we have ever played and the audience evidently agreed with me, as they were very near a riot. 12 Min. in One. THE 3 DOOLEYS Very good little bicycle act - the comedian of the act being particularly clever. The act did thoroughly all right and made good in this spot. 10 Min. F. S. MOTION PICTURES O. K. Music Hall, Pawtucket, R. I. Week of Oct. 19-20-21 Kolb & Le Neva - man and woman - Comedy Singers and Crayon Artists - 22 min - went good Ernesto Sisters - Wire - Going good Wm. P.
