Report on PROVIDENCE SHOW. Week of November 27, 1911. CHAS. LOVENBERG, Manager. We have a dandy show this week; in fact a succession of hits. Not a single act in the bill that failed to please. STRENGTH BROS. These men have some new ideas in the hand-balancing line with quite a little comedy interspersed. Very good. 7 Min. in One. THE LANGDONS These people open with a very effective setting and have a good novelty, and the material is all good. It went very well indeed, in spite of the fact that I don't think these people are particularly clever. In the hands of two real performers it would be a headline act. 13 Min. F. S. AL CARLETON Well-known monologue act that fared very well as he always does here. 16 Min. in One. JEWELL'S MANIKINS Standard act of the kind which pleased. 17 Min. f. s. GILBERT LOSSEE Triple-voice vocalist. Unquestionably the best act of its kind that we ever played. 14 Min. in One. BYRON & LANGDON This act is too well-known to require comment. They scored their usual hit. 17 Min. F.S. They are doing a short close in one as an accommodation. HAYDN, BORDEN & HAYDN 3 young fellows in an act introducing a little bit of everything, singing, dancing, playing upon the piano and other musical instruments, comedy, etc. Crack-ajack act which made the biggest kind of a hit. This act ought to be secured at once all along the line. 18 Min. F. S. Can do a short close in One. PERRY & WHITE Man and woman in a very clever turn of songs and dialogue. Made an unqualified hit. 20 Min. in One. "THE HOLD-UP" A dramatic sketch with some thrilling effects that scored immensely and will unquestionably draw some money. 17 Min. F. S. MOTION PICTURES O. K.
