BOSTON SHOW WEEK DECEMBER 4, 1911. (R. G. Larsen.) (Monday Night Show.) [O'KURE?] JAPS. 12 minutes f.s. A very good Jap act with ladder balancing, etc., the only objection to it being the combination of a Jap and a white woman. The audience was plainly not in sympathy with it. WINDSOR TRIO. 14 minutes open and close in one. This trio is quite different from anything of the kind we have had, and number two is rather a bad spot, but they worked up in good shape and finished big. HASTINGS and WILSON. 11 minutes f.s. These men made as big a hit if not bigger than they did years ago in this house, although the stuff is pretty much the same. AL CARLETON. 15 minutes in one. Not a new line, a new song, or anything. He is not in the best of health and did not go as strong as formerly. SYDNEY DREW and CO. In "Stalled." 16 minutes f.s. Special set. This act was seen to much better advantage than at Union Hill, and held the interest, got a good many laughs, and the finish was very good. But it hasn't the body to it of former acts presented by Mr. Drew. It is a very good act in a way, but is hardly worthy of Mr. Drew. NONETTE. 14 minutes in one. One big hit. IRENE FRANKLIN. 30 minutes f.s. Singing two new songs and not doing as much time as she did on her previous visit. However, she was as usual, a hit. I think she will draw. BISON CITY FOUR. 14 minutes in one. Special drop. A rough comedy singing act with a hard spot to fill. The same old problem of following Miss Franklin. These fellows got away with it in pretty good shape to-night, and held the audience, although some changes in their act in the way of quick, lively songs at the finish would help it. FLYING MARTINS. 4 minutes f.s. A real sensation and a good closing act. CUTS. "Don't talk in your sleep song" of Windsor Trio.
